CCR2 (Chemokine Receptor 2, CC-CCR-2, CKR2) |

Description: CCR2 is an integral membrane protein. It is receptor for the MCP-1, MCP-3 and MCP-4 chemokines. It transduces a signal by increasing the intracellular calcium ions level. It is an alternative coreceptor with CD4 for HIV-1 infection. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunocytochemistry, Immunohistochemistry and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Immunocytochemistry: 1:400 Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin sections): 1:200 Western Blot: 1:1000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. |
