Description:
Thy-1 molecule is heavily glycosylated membrane bound protein of 18kD.

Applications:
Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunohistochemistry and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications have not been tested.

Recommended Dilutions:
Immunohistochemistry (frozen, unfixed sections): Staining has been observed in studies of neuroblastoma, leukemia phenotyping and carcinoma of the breast, and in studies of renal corticol fibroblasts in progressive renal disease. Epitope is resistant to trypsin treatment used to release adherent cells from surfaces.
Optimal dilutions to be determined by researcher.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
