Description:
Applications:
Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.

Suitable for use in. Other applications not tested.
Western Blot: 1:1000-1:2000
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4C for short-term only. For long-term storage, store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

Immunogen:
Phosphopeptide corresponding to amino acid residues surrounding the phospho-Tyr15 of rat cdc2. The sequence of the immunogen is identical in Drosophila, human, mouse, rat and Xenopus.

Serum
Form
10 mM HEPES (pH 7.5), 150 mM NaCl, 100 ug/ml BSA, and 50% glycerol
Specificity:
Specific for the 34kD CDC2 protein, phosphorylated at Tyr15. The specificity is defined based on C2549-49F's specific immunolabeling in Western blots. This labeling is blocked by the phosphopeptide but not the dephosphopeptide. Species Crossreactivity: rat, mouse, human, Drosophila and Xenopus. Other species have not been tested.
Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
