CDw49f (VLA6) (FITC)
Description:
CDw49f is expressed on epithelial and endothelial basement membrane. The VLA alpha-6 chain, which consists of a single disulfide linked 120kD subunit and a small doublet subunit of 25/30kD, is non-covalently associated with the VLA beta-chain (CD29) in VLA-6 or alpha 6/beta 1 complex or with integrin beta 4 chain (alpha 6/beta 4). The antigen is also expressed on platelets, monocytes, thymocytes and T lymphocytes.

Applications:
Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunohistochemistry and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilutions:
Flow Cytometry: 10ul labels 10e6 cells
Immunohistochemistry: Frozen sections
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Hybridoma:
NS1 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.FITC conjugates are sensitive to light.
