Epidermal growth factor-like 1 belongs to the G-protein coupled receptor 2 family and the LN-TM7 subfamily. The unprocessed precursor has a length of 3312 amino acids and a predicted molecular weight of 358.3kD. It contains nine cadherin domains, eight EGF-like domains, one GPS domains, one laminin EGF-like domains and two laminin G-like domains. It is a transmembrane protein and is thought to have an important role in cell to cell signaling during nervous system formation.

Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilutions:
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20C. Stable for 12 months at -20C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
