Description: Epidermal growth factor-like 1 belongs to the G-protein coupled receptor 2 family and the LN-TM7 subfamily. The unprocessed precursor has a length of 3312 amino acids and a predicted molecular weight of 358.3kD. It contains nine cadherin domains, eight EGF-like domains, one GPS domains, one laminin EGF-like domains and two laminin G-like domains. It is a transmembrane protein and is thought to have an important role in cell to cell signaling during nervous system formation. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. |
