Description:
Chromogranin A protein is widely expressed in neu- ronal tissues and secretory granules of endocrine cells such as parathyroid gland, adrenal medulla, anterior pituitary, pancreatic islets and C cells of the thyroid. This antibody will help identify chromogranin A in normal and uncharacterized tissues.

Applications:
Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilution:
Immunohistochemistry: 1:50-1:100 for 30 mins. at RT
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Positive Control:
Pancreas, Stomach, intestine (granular cytoplasmic staining pattern)

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
