Ciliary Neurotropic Factor (CNTF)
Description:
Rat CNTF is a 22.7kD neuroregulatory cytokine which is found primarily in peripheral nerve tissue. CNTF promotes the survival and differentiation of neurons and other neuronal cell types.

Recommended Secondary Reagents: Sheep anti Rabbit IgG (Aff. Pur.): HRP

Applications:
ELISA: 0.5ug/ml
Western Blotting: 0.1-0.2ug/ml
Neutralization: 0.002-0.005ug/ml to yield one half maximal inhibition (ND50) of rat CNTF.
Optimal working dilutions to be determined by researcher.
