Description: Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Neutralization and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA (Indirect, Sandwich): 0.5ug-2ug/ml Detects 0.2-0.4ng/well of recombinant rat CNTF (using 100ul/well antibody solution). Neutralization: 0.02-0.05ug/ml Yields one-half maximal inhibition [ND50] of the biological activity of rat CNTF (0.15ng/ml). Western Blot: 0.1-0.2ug/ml Detects recombinant rat CNTF at 1.5-3.0ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Reconstitute to nominal volume by adding sterile 40-50% glycerol and store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer Country of Origin: USA |
