Description:
Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution: Immunoblot Analysis: A 1:1000 dilution of this lot detected phosphorylated c-Jun in RIPA lysates from 3T3 cells stimulated with 10ug/ml anisomycin for 30 minutes. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage, store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. |

Immunogen:
KLH-conjugated, synthetic peptide corresponding to aa85-101 (NGHITT[pT]P[pT]PTQFLCPK) of human c-Jun. The immunizing sequence is identical in mouse and rat.
Purity:
Purified by immunoaffinity chromatography.
Form
Supplied as a liquid in 0.2M Tris-glycine, pH 7.4, 0.15M sodium chloride, 0.05% sodium azide before the addition of glycerol to 30%.
Specificity:
Recognizes phosphorylated c-Jun (Thr91/Thr93), Mr 41kD. An additional unknown protein was also detected, Mr 65kD. Species Crossreactivity: Human and mouse. Predicted to crossreact with avian, rat, rabbit, bovine and porcine based on sequence homology.
