Claudin 12 (CLDN12)
Claudin-12 is a 244 amino acid multipass membrane protein in the claudin family of epithelial tight junction proteins. Claudin-12 is expressed on intestinal, bladder, and blood-brain barrier epithelial cells. Human Claudin-12 shares 92% aa sequence identity with mouse and rat Claudin-12.

Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry and Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilutions:
Flow Cytometry: 2.5ug/ml labels 1x10e6 cells. Validated for use with CaCo2 human colorectal adenocarcinoma cell line.
Immunocytochemistry: 8-25ug/ml.
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20C. Stable for 12 months at -20C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

Recognizes human Claudin 12. Stains human Claudin 12 transfectants but not irrelevant transfectants. Species Sequence Homology: mouse and rat: 92%
