Claudin 12 (CLDN12) |
|
|
Description: Claudin-12 is a 244 amino acid multipass membrane protein in the claudin family of epithelial tight junction proteins. Claudin-12 is expressed on intestinal, bladder, and blood-brain barrier epithelial cells. Human Claudin-12 shares 92% aa sequence identity with mouse and rat Claudin-12. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry and Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Flow Cytometry: 2.5ug/ml labels 1x10e6 cells. Validated for use with CaCo2 human colorectal adenocarcinoma cell line. Immunocytochemistry: 8-25ug/ml. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. |
