CLEC14A (C-type Lectin Domain Family 14 Member A, Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor 5, EGFR-5, C14orf27, EGFR5, UNQ236/PRO269) (PE)
CLEC14A (C-type lectin domain family 14 member A; also EGFR5) is a 51kD (predicted) member of the C-type lectin domain family of proteins. It is a type I transmembrane protein, apparently expressed in brain and about which little is known. Mature human CLEC14A is 469aa in length. It contains a 376aa extracellular region (aa22-397) and a 72aa cytoplasmic domain. The extracellular region shows one C-type lectin like domain (aa32-175) and an EGF-like region (aa245-287). Over aa2-397, human CLEC14A shares 66% and 81%aa identity with mouse and canine CLEC14A, respectively.

Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested.

May be stored at 4C before opening. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use. Stable for 12 months at 4C. Freezing R-Phycoerythrin (PE) conjugates will result in a substantial loss of activity. PE conjugates are sensitive to light.
