Description: CLEC14A (C-type lectin domain family 14 member A; also EGFR5) is a 51kD (predicted) member of the C-type lectin domain family of proteins. It is a type I transmembrane protein, apparently expressed in brain and about which little is known. Mature human CLEC14A is 469aa in length. It contains a 376aa extracellular region (aa22-397) and a 72aa cytoplasmic domain. The extracellular region shows one C-type lectin like domain (aa32-175) and an EGF-like region (aa245-287). Over aa2-397, human CLEC14A shares 66% and 81%aa identity with mouse and canine CLEC14A, respectively. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Absorption: 488nm Emission: 565-605nm Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C before opening. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use. Stable for 12 months at 4°C. Freezing R-Phycoerythrin (PE) conjugates will result in a substantial loss of activity. PE conjugates are sensitive to light. |
