Description: Clock is a basic helix-loop helix (bHLH) transcription factor that regulates circadian rhythms and sleep cycles. Clock contain a DNA-binding domain, a protein dimerization domain that heterodimerizes with BMAL1 and a glutamine-rich C terminus region. Clock dimerization with BMAL helps regulate nuclear translocation and binding of Clock to the E box elements stimulates circadian genes transcription. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilutions: Western Blot: 0.5-4 ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Control Peptide: C5843-02A1 Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. |
