C4B (Complement C4-B, Basic Complement C4, C3 and PZP-like alpha-2-macroglobulin Domain-containing Protein 3, CO4, CPAMD3) |
|
|
Description: The basic form of complement factor 4 (C4) is part of the classical complement activation pathway. C4 is expressed as a single chain precursor. This is post-tranlationally modified to form a disulphide linked trimer of alpha, beta and gamma chains with an intra-chain thioester bond in the alpha chain, prior to secretion. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, ELISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 0.1ug/1e6 cells Immunohistochemistry (Formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded): 20ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. |
