COMT, NT (Catechol O-methyltransferase)
Description:
Catechol O-methyltransferase (COMT) is involved in the inactivation of catecholamines, including the neurotransmitter dopamine. A Val(108/158) Met functional polymorphism of the COMT gene has been shown to affect working memory-associated frontal lobe function in humans

Applications:
Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilution:
ELISA: 1:4000
Western Blot: 1:4000, 1-3ug/ml
Immunohistochemistry (Formalin fixed paraffin embedded): 3.75ug/ml
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
