CoREST (REST corepressor 1, Protein CoREST, KIAA0071, RCOR, RCOR1)
Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation, Immunohistochemistry, Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilution:
Western Blot: 0.1-0.5ug/ml detects CoREST in RIPA lysates from A431, 3T3/A31, Jurkat, and Hela cells. Reported to be detected in RIPA lysates from HEK 293, L6, PC12, C6 cells and liver, muscle, heart and brain tissue.
Immunoprecipitation: 2.5ug immunoprecipitates CoREST from 250ug of A431 RIPA lysate.
Immunocytochemistry: Positive immunostaining for CoREST in cells fixed with 4% paraformaldehyde pH 7.3 for 10-15 minutes
Immunohistochemistry: Reported to detect CoREST in tissue sections.

Included Positive Control:
A0001-50: A431 Cells, Non-Stimulated in RIPA Buffer, Sample Buffer. Add 2.5ul of 2-mercaptoethanol/100ul of lysate and boil for 5 minutes to reduce the preparation. Load 20ug of reduced lysate per lane for minigels.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4C for short-term only. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
