TDGF1 is an extracellular, membrane-bound signaling protein that is involved in embryonic development and tumor growth. Mutations in TDGF1 are associated with forebrain defects TDGF1 takes part in the determination of the epiblastic cells that later provide growth to the mesoderm. TDGF1 Human Recombinant produced in HEK-293 cells is a single, glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 139aa with a molecular weight of 17.8kD though on SDS-PAGE migrates at about 25kD due to the glycosylation. The TDGF1 is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

Biological Activity:
In a functional ELISA, immobilized recombinant human Activin RIB/Fc chimera receptor (0.2ug/ml) will bind TDGF1 with linear range of 0.8-100ng/ml.

Storage and Stability:
Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20C. Stable for 12 months at -20C. Reconstitute with dH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Reconstituted product is stable for 6 months at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
