Cullin 1, CT (CUL1, Cullin-1, CUL-1) |
|
|
Description: Cullin-1 is a negative regulator of the cell cycle that controls the abundance of G1 cyclins during embryogenesis; Cul1 mutants produce abnormally small cells due to an accelerated progression of the cell cycle G1-to-S-phases and the absence of mitotic arrest phase. Null mutations cause hyperplasia of all tissues. Cul-1 is part of the SCF ubiquitin ligase complex with S KP1 and F box-containing protein. Cul-1 is homologous to the yeast cdc53 protein. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, ELISA, Immunoprecipitation and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 1:2000-1:10,000 Western Blot: 1:500-1:1000 Immunohistochemistry (Formalin fixed paraffin embedded): 1:500 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. |
