Cullin 3 (Cullin-3, CUL3, CUL-3, KIAA0617)
Description:
Cullins are scaffold proteins in the E3 ligase complex and forms a catalytic core complex with Roc1/Rbx1/Hrt1, with Roc1 recruiting a cognate E2 enzyme. They are major components of SCF complexes, and have been implicated in degradation of key regulatory molecules including Cyclin E, beta-catenin and Cubitus interruptus. Six Cul protein members have been identified in mammals: Cul1, Cul2, Cul3, Cul4A, Cul4B, and Cul5. Cullin 3 forms a tight complex with cyclin E and is involved in its ubiquitination, thus regulates G1/S transition. It is also involved in ubiquitination of both BMI1/PCGF4 and H2AFY, in complex with SPOP.

Applications:
Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.

Immunohistochemistry (paraffin): 1:50-1:100

May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
