Human CXCL16 ia a recently discovered alpha (CXC) chemokine which also has the characteristics of CC chemokines and a sturcture similar to Fractalkine. It may also play a role in attracting activated lymphocyte subsets during in ammation and may assist immune responses. Recombinant Human CXCL16 is a 10.1kDa protein containing 89 amino acid residues.

Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20C. Reconstitute to nominal volume by adding ddH2O. Aliquot and store at -20C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
