Human CXCL16 ia a recently discovered alpha (CXC) chemokine which also has the characteristics of CC chemokines and a sturcture similar to Fractalkine. It may also play a role in attracting activated lymphocyte subsets during in ammation and may assist immune responses. Recombinant Human CXCL16 is a 10.1kDa protein containing 89 amino acid residues.
