CXCL16 is a recently discovered alpha chemokine (CXC) which also has characteristics of CC chemokines and a structure similar to Fractalkine. It may also play a role in attracting activated lymphocyte subsets during in ammation and may assist immune responses. Recombinant Murine CXCL16 is a 9.9kDa protein containing 88 amino acid residues. AA Sequence: NQGSVAGSCD RTISSGTQIP QGTLDHIRKY LKAFHRCPFF IRFQLQSKSV CGGSQDQWVR ELVDCFERKE CGTGHGKSFH HQKHLP Source: E. coli Purity: 98% by SDS-PAGE and HPLC analyses Endotoxin: 0.1ng/ug (1EU/ug) Biological Activity: Determined by its ability to chemoattract murine lymphocytes using a concentration of 20-1000ng/ml. Reconstitution: We recommend a quick spin followed by reconstitution in water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0mg/ml. This solution can then be diluted into other buffers and stored at 4°C for 1 week or stored at -20°C for future use. Storage and Stability: The lyophilized protein is stable for a few weeks at room temperature, but best stored at -20°C. Reconstituted murine CXCL16 should be stored in working aliquots at -20°C. Country of Origin: USA Molecular Weight: 9.9kDa |
Source: E. coli Form: The sterile ltered solution was lyophilized from 10mM HoAc. Important Note: This product is intended for research use only, not for use in human, therapeutic or diagnostic applications. |
