Description:
This antibody is a broad spectrum anti pan cytokeratin antibody, which differentiates epithelial from non-epithelial tumors.

Cellular Localization: Cytoplasmic

Applications:
Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry (paraffin-embedded sections). Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilution:
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

This antibody reacts with cytokeratins of acidic as well as basic subfamilies, i.e. 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,10,12,13,14,15,16,17,18 and 19. It reacts with keratinized and corneal epidermis, stratified epithelia, hyperproliferative keratinocytes and simple epithelia. Species Crossreactivity: Crossreacts with Human, Rat, bovine, Chicken, Frog and Snake. Not yet tested in other species.
