Cytokeratin 13 (Cytokeratin-13, CK13, CK-13, Keratin 13, Keratin-13, Keratin Type I Cytoskeletal 13, K13, KRT13, MGC3781, MGC161462)
Description:
Cytokeratin 13 belongs to the intermediate filament family of proteins. It is a heterotetramer of two type I and two type II keratins and typically associates with Cytokeratin 4. Cytokeratin 13 is expressed in some epidermal sweat gland ducts and in exocervix, esophagus and placenta.Cytokeratin 13 belongs to the intermediate filament family of proteins.
