Technical Data
Cytokeratin 14
In several studies the correlation between the expression of keratin 14 in in different types of carcinomas (putatively derived from basal epithelial cells) and prognosis has been discussed.

Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence microscopy, Immunoblot and Immunohistochemistry (frozen sections).

Recommended Dilution:
Immunohistochemistry: 1:5-1:10

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and add glycerol (40-50%). Store at -20°C or colder. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

Supplied as a liquid.
Reacts with cytokeratin 14, expressed in the basal cells of the larynx, esophagus, trachea, bladder, prostate, cervix, vagina, breast acini, skin and sweat glands. Species Crossreactivity: Human, porcine, canine.
