DAB2 (Disabled Homolog 2, Mitogen-responsive Phosphoprotein (Drosophila), DOC2, DOC-2) |
|
|
Description: Dab2 (Disabled homolog 2, Diabled-2) is a mammalian structural homolog of Drosophila Disabled protein and a mitogen-responsive phosphoprotein (1). As a component of the CSF1 signal transduction pathway, Dab2 is normally expressed in ovarian epithelia cells. However, in ovarian carcinoma, Dab2 expression is either lost or down- regulated. Therefore, Dab2 is speculated to be a negative regulator of growth and its down-regulation considered to play critical role in ovarian carcinogenesis (2). Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Western Blot and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 1:50 Western Blot: 1:1000-1:5000 Immunoprecipitation: 1:10 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. |
