DDAH2 (N(G),N(G)-dimethylarginine Dimethylaminohydrolase 2, DDAH-2, Dimethylarginine Dimethylaminohydrolase 2, DDAHII, Dimethylargininase-2, Protein G6a, S-phase Protein, DDAH, G6A, NG30)
DDAH2 plays a role in nitric oxide generation by regulating cellular concentrations of methylarginines, which in turn inhibit nitric oxide synthase activity. Overexpression of DDAH2 has also been linked to increased VEGF mRNA expression and enhanced tube formation by cells grown in a 3-dimensional medium.

Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilution:
Western Blot: 1-3ug/ml
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Mouse Heart extracts, Human Heart extract

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
