Technical Data
Dectin 2 (Dendritic Cell-associated C-type Lectin 2, DC-associated C-type Lectin 2, Dectin-2, C-type Lectin Domain Family 6 Member A, CLEC6A, C-type Lectin Superfamily Member 10, CLECSF10) (PE)
Significant expression of Dectin-2 has been reported on macrophages in the red pulp and marginal zones of the spleen, kupffer cells in the liver and alveolar macrophages in the lung. Peripheral blood monocytes express low levels of dectin-2 but transient up-regulation of expression has been demonstrated on monocytes at sites of inflammation.
The function of Dectin-2 has not been fully determined but studies suggest a possible role in immune-surveillance.

Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilution:
Flow Cytometry: Neat-1:5; 10ul labels 10e6 cells in 100ul
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
Lyophilized powder may be stored at 4C. Reconstitute by adding sterile buffer or ddH2O. Aliquot and store at 4C. DO NOT FREEZE! Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use. Freezing R-Phycoerythrin (PE) conjugates will result in a substantial loss of activity. PE conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

Dectin-2 (extracellular domain) Fc Fusion protein.
Purified by Protein G affinity chromatography.
Supplied as a lyophilized powder from PBS, pH 7.4, 1% BSA, 0.09% sodium azide. Labeled with R-Phycoerythrin (PE). Reconstitute with 1ml sterile 40-50% glycerol, ddH2O.
Recognizes mouse DC-associated C-type lectin-2 (Dectin-2), a type II transmembrane protein that is a member of the C-type lectin superfamily. In mouse, dectin-2 is predominantly expressed on tissue macrophages and some dendritic cells. Does not stain brain microglia or meningeal macrophages.
Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
