Dicer (DICER1, DCR1, Endoribonuclease Dicer, Helicase MOI, Helicase with RNase Motif, HERNA, KIAA0928)
Description:
Dicer is an RNaseIII-like enzyme which cleaves double-stranded RNA into 21-23 nucleotide (nt) RNAs. These RNAs are referred to as siRNA (short interfering RNA). It is believed to be essential in siRNA-mediated gene suppression.

Applications:
Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilution:
Western Blot: 0.5-4ug/ml
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
