Specially prepared to be low in protein content but highly polymerized. Suitable as a substrate for deoxyribonuclease. This DNA is an excellent substrate for DNase. A sodium salt, it must be converted by adding magnesium ions to be susceptible to DNase.

Storage and Stability:
Lyophilized powder may be stored at 4C. Stable for 12 months at 4C. Reconstitute with sterile buffer. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Reconstituted product is stable for 6 months at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
