Technical Data
DNA, Salmon, (Protein A Agarose)
Molecular Biology Storage: 4°C Do Not FreezeShipping: Blue Ice
Recombinant Protein A covalently bound to agarose by alkylamine linkage. Sonicated salmon sperm DNA blocks non-specific DNA binding sites on protein A agarose when collecting immunocomplexes for chromatin immunoprecipitations (ChIPs assays).

Applications: Suitable for use in Chromatin Immunoprecipitation. Other applications have not been tested.

Recommended Dilutions: Optimal dilutions to be determined by researcher.

Quality Control: Immunoprecipitation: 80ul of gel slurry pre-cleared a chromatin solution and subsequently 60ul immunoprecipitated DNA cross-linked to acetylated histones using H5110-13A1: Histone H3, acetylated (Lys9, Lys14). Testing was performed in conjunction with H5110-21: Histone H4, acetylated, Immunoprecipitation Assay Kit, BioAssay™. This agarose was also tested with H5110-13Y: Histone H3, acetylated, Immunoprecipitation Assay Kit, BioAssay™.

Storage and Stability: Stable for 1 year at 4ºC. Do not freeze.
Concentration: 0.4mg/ml
Form: Supplied as a 50% slurry of agarose beads in 10mM Tris-HCl, 1mM EDTA, pH8, 0.05% sodium azide, 1mg/ml BSA, 3mg/ml Protein A.
