DHX15, aa150-200 (DDX15, HRH2, DBP1, PRP43, PrPp43p, DEAH (Asp-Glu-AlaHis) box polypeptide 15, DEAD/H box-15, RNA helicase 2, ATP-dependent RNA helicase #46)
Description:
Pre-mRNA processing factor involved in disassembly of spliceosomes after the release of mature mRNA. The protein encoded by this gene is a putative ATP-dependent RNA helicase implicated in pre-mRNA splicing.

Applications:
Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilution:
Western Blot: 1:5000-1:20,000
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Positive Control: Whole cell lysate from normal human lymphoblasts.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

Concentration:

Immunogen:
Synthetic peptide derived from a sequence between amino acids 150-200 of the DHX15 protein [Gene ID 1665]
Purity:
Purified by affinity chromatography.
Form
Supplied as a liquid in Tris-citrate/phosphate buffer, pH 7-8, containing sodium azide
Specificity:
Recognizes human DHX15. Reactivity with mouse is likely owing to sequence similarity at the site to which the immunogen epitope maps.
Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
