Dipeptidyl Peptidase 8 (Dipeptidyl Peptidase VIII, DP8, DPP8, Dipeptidyl Peptidase IV-related Protein 1, DPRP-1, DPRP1, EC, FLJ14920, FLJ20283, MGC26191, MSTP135, MSTP141, Prolyl Dipeptidase DPP8)
DDP8 is ubiquitously expressed in the cytoplasm, with the highest concentrations being found in the placenta, brain, testis, prostate and muscle tissues. Similarities with Dipeptidyl peptidase IV suggest that DPP8 may play a role in T-cell activation and immune function.

Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry (paraffin). Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilution:
Immunohistochemistry (paraffin): 20ug/ml
Requires antigen retrieval using heat treatment for 20 minutes prior to staining of paraffin sections. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, add sterile 40-50% glycerol, aliquot and store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
