|
Description: DMP-1(dentin matrix protein1) is an acidic,100-160kD member of the phosphophoryn family of extracellular matrix proteins. Mouse DMP-1 is found both intra- and extracellularly, where phosphorylated DMP-1 participates in bone mineralization. Secreted mature mouse DMP-1 is a 487aa proteoglycan. It contains multiple serine, glutamic acid, and aspartic acid residues, a GAG attachment site (aa71-72) and an RGD motif (aa350-352). Multiple cleavage sites exist between aa’s205-253, creating multiple fragments approximately 37kD and 57kD in size. Mature mouse DMP-1 is 87% and 63% aa identical to rat and human DMP-1, respectively. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 2-8ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: Myeloma cells with B cells from Balb/c mice. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. |
