DOCK9 (DOCK-9, Dedicator of Cytokinesis 9, Ziz1, Zizi-1, Zizimin1, Zizimin-1, Cdc42 Guanine Nucleotide Exchange Factor Zizimin 1)
Description:
DOCK9 is a guanine nucleotide-exchange factor (GEF) that activates CDC42 by exchanging bound GDP for free GTP. Its overexpression induces filopodia formation.

Cellular Localization: Cytoplasmic (membrane associated)

Applications:
Suitable for use in Immunoprecipitation. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilution:
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

Immunogen:
A synthetic peptide mapping to a region between residues 1250 and 1300 of human Dedicator of Cytokinesis 9 using the numbering given in entry NP_056111.1 (GeneID 23348).
Purity:
Purified by immunoaffinity chromatography.
Form
As reported
Specificity:
Species Crossreactivity: Human. Other species have not been tested. Reactivity with mouse DOCK9 is not expected owing to divergence of sequence between this ortholog and human DOCK9 at the site to which the epitope maps.
Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
