Directions per Liter (Broth): Mix 1.32 grams of drop-out mix with 26.7g Y2025 Yeast Nitrogen Base w/o AA, Carbohydrate & w/AS or 6.7g Y2020 Yeast Nitrogen Base w/ AA & w/ AS, w/o Carbohydrate drop-out base per liter of ddH2O. Adjust to desired pH. Sterilize with 0.2um membrane filter. Aliquot into sterile containers.
Directions per Liter (Plates): Mix 1.32 grams of drop-out mix with 43.7g D9510-01 Drop-out Base (w/o aa) With Glucose and Agar per liter of ddH2O. Mix thoroughly. Heat with frequent agitation and boil for 1 minute to completely dissolve the powder. Dispense into appropriate containers, loosen caps and autoclave for 15 minutes at 121ºC (15psi). Storage and Stability:Store powdered media at RT. Opened bottles should be capped tightly and kept in a dark, low humidity environment. Prepared media should be kept at 4°C and used within a short period of time.
