Technical Data
Elastase (Biotin)
Suitable for use in Western Blot, ELISA, Immunohistochemistry, Immunomicroscopy. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilution:
ELISA: 1:4000 to 1:20,000 (use 1ug of Elastase using peroxide-conjugated streptavadin and ABTS as a substrate for 30 minutes at room temperature)
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Biotin/Protein Ratio:
1020 BAC molecules per Rabbit IgG molecule

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4C for short-term only. For long-term storage, store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

Elastase [Porcine Pancreas]
Puri ed from monospeci c antiserum by delipidation, fractionation and ion exchange chromatography.
Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.2, 10mg/ml BSA (IgG and Protease Free), 0.01% sodium azide, 40% glycerol. Labeled with biotin.
Recognizes porcine elastase. Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti biotin, anti rabbit serum as well as purified and partially purified Elastase (porcine pancreas).
Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
