Description:
Applications: Suitable for use in Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, add sterile glycerol (40-50%), aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. |

| Specificity: |
| Recognizes Endothelin [15-21]. The reactivity of Endothelin 1 (human, porcine) and Endothelin 3 (human, rat) is 90%, Endothelin 2 (human) is 70% and Big Endothelin 1 (human) is greater than 1%. Does not react to ACTH (human, 1-39), Calcitonin (human), Oxytocin and Vasoactive Intestinal Peptide. Class specific for endothelins and is suitable for use in immunohistochemical procedures. |
