Eotaxin-2 also known as MPIF-2 is a recently discovered CC chemokine characterized by its high chemotactic selectivity for eosinophils. Human eotaxin-2 is an 8.8kD protein containing 78 amino acid residues. Biological Activity: Determined by its ability to chemoattract using human peripheral blood eosinophils using a concentration of 50-100ng/ml. Sequence: VVIPSPCCMF FVSKRIPENR VVSYQLSSRS TCLKGGVIFT TKKGQQFCGD PKQEWVQRYM KNLDAKQKKA SPRARAVA Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Reconstitute to nominal volume by adding ddH2O, carrier protein. Aliquot and store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Molecular Weight: 8.8kD |
Source: E. coli Purity: 98% by SDS-PAGE and HPLC. Endotoxin: 0.1ng/ug (1EU/ug). Form: Supplied as a sterile-filtered, lyophilized powder without additives. Reconstitute with ddH2O, carrier protein to a concentration of 0.1-1mg/ml.
