OBT1538 is recombinant human erythropoietein alpha, produced in CHO cells. It is a single polypeptide chain containing 166aa with a predicted molecular mass of 21,000D and an apparent molecular mass of 30,400D.

Applications:
Suitable for use in Functional Assays. Other applications not tested.

Activity:
The specific activity was measured by normocythaemic mice and found to have an activity of 120,000 IU/mg.

Recommended Dilution:
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:

Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with 250ul sterile dH2O. Aliquot and store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 6 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
