CCL21 is member of the chemokine superfamily and the subfamily of CC chemokines that has an aspartatecysteine-cysteine-leucine motif near its amino-terminus. This protein is involved in inhibits hemopoiesis and stimulates chemotaxis. CCL21 is chemotactic in vitro for thymocytes and activated T-cells, but not for B-cells, macrophages, or neutrophils. It may also play a role in mediating homing of lymphocytes to secondary lymphoid organs. Recombinant CCL21 protein was expressed in E.coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Endotoxin: 1EU/1ug (LAL).
