FANCM (Fanconi Anemia Group M Protein, Protein FACM, ATP-dependent RNA Helicase FANCM, Fanconi Anemia-associated Polypeptide of 250kD, FAAP250, Protein Hef Ortholog, KIAA1596)
Description:
ATPase required for FANCD2 ubiquitination, a key reaction in DNA repair. Binds to ssDNA but not to dsDNA. Recruited to forks stalled by DNA interstrand cross-links, and required for cellular resistance to such lesions.

Applications:
Suitable for use in ELISA. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilution:
ELISA: 1:2000
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
