Fen1 (Flap Endonuclease 1, Flap Structure-specific Endonuclease 1, FEN-1, DNase IV, hFEN-1, Maturation Factor 1, MF1, RAD2) |
|
|
Description: FEN1 is a member of the XPG/RAD2 endonuclease family which has an important role in lagging strand DNA synthesis and base excision repair. It is hypothesised that FEN1 may play a role in the inhibltion of triplet repeat expansion. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunoprecipitation and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunoprecipitation: 4ug/mg Western Blot: 1:5000-1:30,000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, add sterile 40-50% glycerol, aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. |
