Technical Data
FAM3A (Family with Sequence Similarity 3 Member A)
FAM3A is a secreted protein belonging to the FAM3 family of four alpha-helix bundle cytokines. It is expressed in multiple tissues. Mature human FAM3A shares approximately 93% amino acid sequence identity with the mouse and rat protein.

Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilution:
Direct ELISA: 0.5-1.0ug/ml; The detection limit is ~1ng/well. Shows ~5% cross-reactivity with rhFAM3B, rhFAM3C and rhFAM3D.
Western Blot: 0.1-0.2ug/ml; The detection limit is ~5ng/lane under non-reducing and reducing conditions.
Optimal dilutions should be determined by each laboratory for each application.

Storage and Stability:
Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20C. Stable for 12 months at -20C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
