Description: FKBP12 is a member of the family of soluble receptors capable of binding to one of two major immunosuppressant agents. FKBP12 also plays a role in intracellular calcium regulation by associating with three types of calcium release channel complexes, cardiac and skeletal ryanodine receptors and the inositol 1,4,5-trisphosphate receptor. In interactions with members of the TGF beta family type I receptors, FKBP12 has been shown to exert an inhibitory effect on the signaling pathway. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 0.5-4ug/ml Immunoprecipitation: 2-10ug/ml Immunohistochemistry: 2-10ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. |
