Description:
FKBP52 (also known as FKBP4, Hsp56, FK506 binding protein 4, p52, FKBP59) is a 55kD peptidyl-propyl isomerase. FKBP52 catalyzes the transition between cis- and trans- proline residues which is important in immunoregulation and proper protein folding and trafficking. FKBP52 may involve in the intracellular trafficking of hetero-oligomeric forms of the steroid hormone receptors.

Applications:
Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilution:
Western Blot: 0.5-4ug/ml
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
