Growth factor additive in cell culture media for mesoderm and neuroectoderm-derived cells. Half maximum stimulation of cell proliferation with bovine aortic endothelial cells (BAE cells) is reached using < 3ng/ml. Biological Activity: 3 ng/ml for half maximum stimulation of cell proliferation with bovine aortic endothelial cells (BAE cells). Applications: Characterized growth factor additive in cell culture media for mesoderm and neuroectoderm-derived cells. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Reconstitute to nominal volume by adding sterile dH2O and store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Molecular Weight: 20kD |
Source: Human recombinant, produced in E. coli Purity: 95%; Purified by Heparin affinity chromatography. Concentration: ~0.2mg/ml Form: Lyophilized in 100ul phosphate buffered saline (pH 6), supplemented with 5mM glutathione. Reconstitute with 100ul distilled water. Important Note: This product as supplied is intended for research use only, not for use in human, therapeutic or diagnostic applications without the expressed written authorization of United States Biological. |
