FGF14/FHF4, Fibroblast Growth Factor 14, Fibroblast Growth Factor Homologous Factor 4
Description:
Fibroblast growth factor 14 (FGF14/FHF4) is a member of the intracellular FGF homologous factor family (iFGFs), a unique group of FGFs (FGF11-14) expressed in neurons that have no ability to activate tyrosine kinases. FGF14 is a critical factor for the functional maintenance of a various areas of the central and peripheral nervous systems.

Applications:
Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications have not been tested.

Recommended Dilutions:
Western Blot: 0.5ug/ml detects FGF14/FHF4 on 10ug of rat brain membrane tissue lysate.
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Positive Control:
Rat brain membrane tissue lysate

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
