Fibronectin (BSA & Azide Free) |
|
|
Description: Fibronectin is a dimeric glycoprotein (~440kD) which is present in cells, extracellular matrix and blood (1). It possesses at least four binding sites for collagen, glycosaminoglycans, transglutaminase and a cell surface receptor. Fibronectin is involved in cell adhesion, tissue organization and wound healing. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunofluorescence and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry (Formalin/paraffin): 0.5-1ug/ml for 30 min at RT. Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires boiling tissue sections in 10mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0, for 10-20 min followed by cooling at RT for 20 min. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Positive Control: Normal kidney Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, add sterile glycerol (40-50%), aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. |
