Fibronectin (FN, Cold-insoluble Globulin)
Description:
Fibronectins are disulfide-linked, dimeric glycoproteins of ~440kD. They possess at least four binding sites for collagen, glycosaminoglycans, transglutaminase, and a cell surface receptor. Fibronectins are involved in cell adhesion, tissue organization, and wound healing. Fibronectins are present in basement membranes, interstitial connective tissue matrix, and blood. Cellular fibronectin is widely distributed in the stroma of many malignant tumors.

Applications:
Suitable for use in Immunoprecipitation and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilutions:
Immunohistochemistry: Paraffin sections
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
