Human Fractalkine is a member of the newly discovered CX3C family of chemokines which contains both chemokine and mucin domain. Human Fractalkine is an 8.5kD protein containing 76 amino acid residues and comprises only the chemokine domain of Fractalkine. Source: E.coli Form: The sterlie filtered solution was lyophilized without additives. Stability: The lyophilized protein, though stable at room temperature, is best stored desiccated below 0°C. Reconstituted Fractalkine should be stored in working aliquots at -20°C. Purity: 97% by SDS-PAGE and HPLC analyses. Endotoxin: 0.1ng/ug (1EU/ug). Reconstitution: We recommend a quick spin followed by reconstitution in water to a concentration of 0.1-1mg/ml. This solution can then be diluted into other aqueous buffers and stored at 4 0C for 1 week or -20°C for future use. Biological Activity: Determined by its ability to chemoattract human monocytes and total human T cells using a concentration range of 1.0-10ng/ml.
