Technical Data
GFR alpha 2 (GDNF family receptor alpha-2, GFR-alpha-2, Neurturin receptor alpha, NTNR-alpha, NRTNR-alpha, TGF-beta-related neurotrophic factor receptor 2, GDNF receptor beta, GDNFR-beta, RET ligand 2)
Receptor for neurturin. Mediates the NRTN-induced autophosphorylation and activation of the RET receptor. Also able to mediate GDNF signaling through the RET tyrosine kinase receptor.

Cellular Localization:
Cell membrane; lipid-anchor; GPI-anchor (By similarity).

Alternative Products:
2 named isoforms produced by alternative splicing.

Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilution:
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
100ul-20CBlue IceHumanRabbit
A synthetic peptide (PRVEKTPSLPDDLSD) as a part of human GFR alpha-2 protein (aa: 376-390) conjugated to KLH.
Supplied as a lyophilized powder. Reconstitute in 100ul of sterile water. Centrifuge to remove any insoluble material.
Western blot analysis indicates a high level of specificity to GFR alpha-2 for this antiserum. Species Crossreactivity: This antibody is known to react with rat GFR alpha-2.
Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
